ABOUT STRAYED DOGS

Strayed Dogs, LLC was established in the Los Angeles Downtown Arts District by Ali, Mercedes and Amadeus Helnwein. The company deals in various artistic projects, which can essentially be divided up into three categories: Music, Visual Art and Literature.

More specifically, the music department encompasses the scoring of films and commercials, writing commissioned pieces as well as pieces for performances by soloists, chamber groups and orchestras. The visual side of Strayed Dogs includes the production of original fine art (drawings, paintings and fine art prints), as well as the involvement of the company in other visual-art related projects, such as the putting on of art exhibitions and events, or the printing of art onto t-shirts and other articles of clothing. The literature department has it's own publishing division, which enables the printing of smaller works of literature with complete artistic freedom. Besides publishing it's own work, Strayed Dogs also oversees the creation of fiction and non-fiction material for publication in magazines and other literary outlets.

An aditional objective of Strayed Dogs, LLC is to promote other artists by giving them opportunities to exhibit their art, work on scores, get published, etc. This can be achieved due to the fact that the company has access to exhibition spaces, funds to publish works and all the equipment and experience needed to compose and record music.
